The EcoMister at Work
The EcoMister uses the natural powers of evaporation, and super charges it by pumping wastewater out of our trajectory evaporator over a containment pond, containment area, or re-circulating area on site. By throwing the water out of the evaporator, the EcoMister nozzles create ideal water droplet sizes that drift in the air creating what we call “hang time”. The engineers at EcoMister have been perfecting their designs for over 25 years, and by engineering the ideal water droplet size and lofting it into the air, the water evaporates at an enhanced rate.

Slimline’s Turbine and wind tunnel technology are combined to dramatically outperform any other evaporation system available. The Turbine in every handmade EcoMister Evaporator is engineered and manufactured to a tolerance of 0.030″. With this precision, the EcoMister Evaporator generates 120 km/hr (75 mph) air velocity through the wind tunnel, the nozzles inject water into the air stream. When we inject the water, this process exposes the maximum surface area of the water particles to the air, creating optimal hang time to enable evaporation. Having the ability to precisely engineer water droplet size and control spray direction and loft results in maximized evaporation while simultaneously minimizing the potential for drift.
